Water Restrictions

I hope that everyone by now has heard about the water restrictions going into effect on January 15th. It is ever so critical we not only follow the restrictions, but get our reports in on time!!!!! I am compiling some water-use information for the SFWMD to help with implementing a new method for allocations, instead of the Blaney-Criddle method. If you can, please send me your last 5 years of consumption to fax 561-738-9395.

I will not be able to make the meeting on Wednesday, but I faxed you the budget data requested. I will fax the irrigation water use survey as soon as I find 2003! I hope I am doing the calculation wrong, but it appears I will only have an average of 60,000 gallons per night througout the remainder of January.

Unfortunately Scott, you are probably doing it right. We all are finding out how little we have. This is the main reason we need some data to show how far off the Blaney-Criddle method is, and try to develop a newer system. We all want to do our part in conservation efforts, but we do not want to have an outdated and insufficient method of calculating water requirements. Thanks for your help and information.
